
Just yesterday Quezon’s story Barg the Clone and my review of Arcade Fire‘s brand-new album The Suburbs went live, and already we’ve got some spicy new reviews for ‘ya, courtesy of Mike and Quezon, repeatedly.
First off – if The Suburbs isn’t exactly the style of music you’re looking for, you should check out Mike’s review of Norma Jean‘s latest album, Meridional – it will, and I quote, “leave you bloody and bruised but then make you want to sing along.”
If the image to the left didn’t give it away already, Quezon’s review is for the just-out-today action flick The Other Guys – starring Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrel. It’s a quick review, so you’ve got plenty of time to read it before you go to the movies this weekend.
As an aside: Quezon’s review is the first movie review to officially be posted to Alternative-Internet.com. Which he thinks is pretty cool, even if no one else does.
So overall, although there is definitely some blah during the middle, but this movie has a strong start and finish, and has some really good gags you’ll be dying to share with your friends.
