My friends and I all became lairds,
And noble lairds we stay,
Not only lairds but pirates now,
So stay out of our way!
The life of a modern day Sea Dog,
Is a difficult life it’s true!
It’s safer to just avoid our ships,
Or we may just run you through!
Our first mate’s killed eleven men,
Our boatswain has killed six,
Our captain’s killed one hundred men,
And cut off all their – toes!
The life of a modern day pirate,
Is a difficult life indeed!
We’ve got no rules and we break all laws,
And we follow no man’s creed!
We sail on boats!
We sleep with goats!
We kill and pillage,
And slit men’s throats!
The life of a modern day Viking,
We rape and torture and plunder!
We sail along and sing our song,
And tear foe’s bodies asunder!
Hold fast! Hold true!
As we said the ocean blue!
Hold fast! Hold strong!
As we sing our merry song!
